EA Decisions

How did you hear from Lehigh??? If you did ED it is binding. As far as regular decisions I know my daughter hasn’t heard yet. Are you courted for sports???

you should be a detective. you are right

yes. its binding so a desciion needed to be made

ED Decisions were on line late afternoon, about 4:30pm eastern time.

Face the facts. Bentley is last, or close to last, in notifying EA applicants. Nobody else blamed common app or in Bentley’s case common app and naviance. I feel like it was a cop out. What percent of apps were delayed? They should have been working on those that were submitted already. The deadline was 11/15, plenty of time. Some say they do a full application review…but all schools claim they do that and made decisions in a timely manner. Without a better reasons given, I conclude they are understaffed and ill prepared. Not a good combination. Where else are they cutting corners?

Kelly’s Pop, if your child applied ED to Lehigh, the decision was made back in November, when he/she signed a form committing to attend if accepted, not this week because of a short delay by Bentley…why has your child not withdrawn all other applications already, as required by the ED agreement? That would be more fair to the students still waiting to hear, and hoping to attend Bentley…

sorry for confusion on that - LEHIGH has 2 rounds of ED. ED II makes the call this week
Early Decision I – apply by November 15 – commit by end December
Early Decision II - Extended to January 10 – mid February
Regular Decision - Extended to January 10 - Late March

anyway, I hope TODAY is the day everyone gets the good news they have been waiting for . Good Luck!

Again if you applied EDII You were committing to Lehigh before you heard from Bentley regardless. There are no choices when you apply ED whether ED1 or EDII. We considered EDII but decided to wait and have options based on financial aid… As soon as you submitted that application you were bound to Lehigh if accepted. I am glad your child is in at Lehigh but ED is YOUR 1st CHOICE regardless in your mind!!! Congratulations

Good luck to those awaiting decision. Hopefully we hear today

Just checked online and now says first semester progress report missing?? D is going to freak if she does not hear something today. Anyone else notice this change?

Bzylizy that happened to me also. I think it might mean that we got deferred because the same thing happened when I applied to Fordham.

The 1st semester only ended last Friday for my D. I do hope the school sent it in. Likewise, my D won’t like it if she doesn’t find out today.

KellysPop, why are you trolling on this thread? If you sent a deposit, it means you were ED1, and your Bently app should have been withdrawn in December. If you are trying to say that you just made an ED2 election, that was due Jan 15, with notification in mid-Feb, and no deposit would have been required this week.

anything? any news? anyone?

Still waiting!!!

Gosh, we are in California. Applied EA way back. Nothing on my son’s mybentley login. they had called his school twice about math, asked that he commit to a precalc class this summer, which he did, although he 's had four years of math. I wonder if they perhaps do not post rejections on line (which we anticipate getting) and send rejections only via U.S. mail? any insights?

nothing yet…everything complete. My daughter had 1st semester grades not received last week. I called school and asked if that meant her application would not be reviewed…like you she just finished midterms. They assured me her application was being reviewed. When I checked for decision today no decision but they did receive her first semester grades. I think you are ok even with missing 1st semester unless you are on the cusp. Daughter got deferred UVA (out of state) and they specifically told her to make sure 1st semester grades would be sent.

They may not want to send the email during the high school day for the East coast kids at least. They may wait until 3 or 4 EST if that is the case
