EA decisions

I checked this morning....

"Congratulations! You have been admitted to Case Western Reserve University. Please look for your official letter of admission in the mail."

since I haven't heard back, do you think all hope is lost for me?

Not at all! It probably depended when all your information was sent in... plus they say decisions by January 1. They are obviously releasing decisions as they're made, not all on Jan. 1. You'd find out either way in any case.

I just checked online, and was happy to see "Congratulations! You have been admitted to Case Western Reserve University. Please look for your official letter of admission in the mail."

My daughter got that fabulous email too! She is thrilled!

BTW, Hopeful and Bananas, my daughter submitted her application Nov. 13. When you submitted probably has something to do with when you hear, but also Case's admissions officers review applications by regions; certainly some read more than others and will simply take longer to plow through them. Neither of you should worry at all! :)

I Got In!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See? No Worries! :D Congratulations, Hopeful!!!

I GOT IN! I wish good luck to the rest of you still waiting. I encourage you to take a deep breath and keep a positive attitude.

congrats to all you that found out recently! casehopeful you can now be caserealistic, haha.

Kyle:
Thanks for that response, but when I said mixed reviews I was refering to the students. I've heard that they're your typical geeks with pocket protectors and broken glasses. Then again, nobody around CT has really seen the school. I told my homeroom teacher I got into Case and laughed because he said everyone there was extremely dorky, I'm hoping he's wrong. What did you think?

I'll never know for sure until I see it for myself, but I probably won't go out there till spring.

I think that is something you can judge best by visiting yourself, but I didn't get that impression. As for your teacher, I think maybe he deserves a slap. It isn't realistic to generalize like that. I'm not a geek (i think hehe), so if I go you can rest assured that at least one person there is normal.

I got INNN

I feel so relieved. After a rejection from B.C. and Fordham I wasn't sure if I could take another rejection.

I got in too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a future!

I still don't know......

has anyone from the northeast gotten their decision yet? also for the people accepted, did you receive scholarship info in the email or will that be in the official letter?

I am from Maine and I got mine yesterday, so yes, I believe the people from the northeast have started recieving decisions

my daughter got in yesterday as well.

I've been accepted!

I'm from NJ and got in last week

I think I'm going to start a facebook group. I will put up info once it is started.
