[EA]Harvard vs. Princeton

I want to major in economics, and minor in African studies.
For the early action, what would be a better choice?

Harvard?

or

Princeton?

and the other question:
Would it be possible to double major in economics and African studies?
Do I need to pay an extra tuition?
How much more would my course load be than just major in economics?
would it be that hard?

I think Princeton is ED. But Princeton has the BEST financial aid no loans + lots of need based money, which should definitely be incentive for you to apply.

Yeah, one of the most troubled questions was the financial aid, and
almost eveyone including you is saying that Princeton provides a stronger one.
And for the [EA] and [ED], it's a bit strange.
I think nominally Harvard and Princeton has only [EA], but this
only function as [ED], that means it should be your only choice for any
form of early decision or action.

Thanks alot~

It's not strange at all.

Harvard uses SCEA, which means you may apply early to Harvard and only to Harvard, but you are also allowed to apply to other schools through regular decision, even if you are admitted to Harvard, and you may attend another institution if you would like.

Princeton uses ED, which means you may apply early to Princeton and only Princeton, and if you are accepted you must withdraw all other applications and you are not allowed to apply to other schools through regular decision, and you are obligated to attend Princeton.

If you like Princeton equally to Harvard, I would say apply to Princeton because they have better aid and use ED.

i dont know your family income, but if its below 60,000 then you are free at harvard so that would make the most sense.
