Ok, so my one of my top schools (#1 or #2 on my list) has an EA program in addition to RD. (I can’t do ED). My plan has been to apply EA cause it shows more interest and that you have your shit together. However my Average (my school doesn’t really do GPA) has been on the rise and is going to be the highest ever this fall semester of senior year. Would it benefit me to apply at RD so they can see my stellar senior year grades or just apply EA and leave them with my still pretty good junior grades? Please someone just respond. IDGAF if you’re an 8th grader or a Harvard Admissions officer I just want someone’s opinion.
One of the single best reasons to apply RD over EA/ED is to await a boost from the seventh semester. If you’re on th e line, then I’d wait as the GPA boost is greater than any perceived boost for applying EA.
@T26E4 That’s what I was thinking. Thanks.
I agree with above. EA won’t give you much of a boost, but straight As and an upward trend will.
