@durga123 My understanding, the scholarship reduces the self-help portion before reducing grants. I am waiting on my aid decision. But it is going to be very very low.
On top of that some other stuff came up lowering my efc. So kinda a weird stroke of luck?
I mean 27th in the United states for percentage of PhDs and 10th out of 1357 institutions in terms of percentage of life science PhDs!!! That’s impressive, one of the reasons I applied. However, is this data outdated or still accurate?? Can anyone confirm this??
Also, I contacted the pre med advisors. The 90% admit rate to medical school is true but they only get around 7-10 applicants per year.
I got an offer recently from Earlham and a generous $25,000 scholarship of both merit and need based aid. Just want to make sure the percentage PhDs claim is true.
Hi guys! Congrats to all! Are you planning to attend Earlham?
Earlham is my top choice but I’m a bit worry about the academics. Earlham is well-known for their Bio and Japanese programs, but what about Psychology and Political Science? Are they any good?
I think that psychology is one of the most popular majors and if you look at the dept’s web site, you can see that students are involved in research, always a good sign. I don’t know anything about Poli Sci. You should ask to contact some department majors if you can’t visit. And ask about graduate student placement.
