If and when are we going to put up an ED results thread? Just wondering.

I would start other supplements but I can’t bring myself to either. I don’t want to succumb to defeat before decisions are even released.

I WANT TO GET IN SO BADLY!!! I HOPE I GET IN !!!

knock on wood so i dont jinx it :)

GAH ME TOO!!! but in case I don’t get accepted I don’t want to be doing supplements during Christmas season :/

@magentaturtle I had my interview Saturday. It was relatively easy and it felt more like more of a conversation than an interview. Just stay calm and you’ll be fine!

-Fellow Dartmouth Ed-er

Yeah I did my interview! I think it was alright. Not really sure how my interviewer felt about it to be honest.

There wasn’t really anything out of the ordinary I think, which worries me a little.

I just got an interview set up for next week. What type of questions do they ask?

Mine was so basic. There weren’t any trick questions at all. It was basically a conversation about what I do in school and out of school. The anticipated question of “Why Dartmouth?” also came up for me.

It was really straightforward and no tricks at all. You should be fine!

I had the chillest, most laid back interview possible. We met at a coffee shop and the guy was wearing jeans and a dartmouth baseball hat. He didn’t really ask me questions; we just chatted like old friends for about an hour. I knew his nephew and we go to the same church, so that gave us some good talking points.

I really hope I get in because I have major senioritis lol. I doubt I will start my other applications until I hear back. :/

I will definitely not start any other applications until I hear back! Like I previously said, hopefully I won’t have to!

My interviewer told me that I was her only ED candidate within the area (outside of Philadelphia). Hopefully this bears good news…???

I would think that being the only applicant within a certain area is great news :)

That’s lucky! In my area it’s me and a Native American recruited baseball player so he’s in…

I mean we’ll see, but even then, admission to Dartmouth will be impossible. Agh

does everyone get notified at once?

Hi guys! I’m also an ED applicant to dartmouth but just created an account for collegeconfidential…
does anyone know for a fact what date the notifications will be released? i hate how it says “on or before December 15” !!! i know its way too early now but i cant help but check my email every 5 minutes out of sheer hope and fear!

I think the earliest date will be 12/7.

This was their stated goal a while ago in their live chat.

Fingers crossed for Dec 7th. Also im from New Hampshire and I had an interview roughly 2 weeks ago. I drove up to the alumni’s house and the interview itself took about an hour. Thuogh, mine was no easy conversation. My alumni started off with some simple conversation but then got to some really deep, challenging questions about who I am and life. It was pretty challenging I thought, but I think I had a good answer each time. I felt it went good, but not as good as some people are reporting for just a simple conversation. I feel sort of cheated haha. Anyways goodluck to you all.

jonezi, do you remember what questions your alumnus asked?
