@sbjdorlo: I called the school about this yesterday. My son hadn’t even known about it, but would not have been interested in writing another essay either! The admissions rep. told me the scholarship application is truly optional and students will not be penalized for not completing it. Your son still has a chance at the Foisie Scholarship!

Did scholarship applications have to be sent in before the admission application deadline? Or can I wait until April 1 after I’m accepted/denied?
It would be painful to work on more essays if I might not even be accepted. My brain hurts just thinking about it.

The scholarship supplement was not required for consideration for any merit scholarship, it was optional if you think it would strengthen your application. I think it was due by sometime in January.

Well the initial wait is over (finally). Daughter was accepted to her first pick - WPI. Now more waiting to see if any merit aid and/or financial aid is available. Letter says several weeks. Does anyone have any inside information on when we may hear something?
