<p>@singmetosleep15 if you enter the portal, it says “if applicable, any scholarships and/or honors program information will be released with your decision.” At least it is what appears for early action applicants. </p>
<p>I called in today and they told me results could come out anytime before the 31st, but definitely not today. My assumption is next Thursday, considering they usually release EA on the Thursday before their winter break starts.</p>
<p>Could it be next Tuesday? It makes sense for them to do it one week after ED and that is the day that they got it last year. </p>
<p>All this speculation about when the EA decisions will come out is just making people more anxious. I too am waiting for my EA decision, but I think that we just need to accept the fact that they will release them on or before December 31. Could be tomorrow, could be new years eve. Although, the argument that they will make the decisions before winter break is valid, in my opinion, because it makes logical sense but let’s leave it at that. Again, good luck to you all

<p>DO you guys think northeastern is harder to get into than last? I know it gets consisently harder each year but with the implementation of ED, do you think that there is a signifcant difference than past years?</p>

<p>Personally, I believe that northeastern is harder to get into than last year, but not nearly as difficult as people say. Their selectivity has increased significantly between last year and this year, however many believe that this is due to the Common Application working properly this year resulting in a larger applicant pool, but not necessarily a more desired one. If it counts for anything, the fact is that their average SAT of admitted students increased from 1400 to 1421 according to last year’s statistics. good luck!</p>
