Just thought I’d create a group since decisions come out in about two weeks (hopefully). Deferred EA applicant here hoping for an acceptance!
Bump
what day were they released (during march) last year? anyone know?
According to another page on CC, decisions were released on March 18th last year.
Soooo annoying
The wait? @JalapenoGreens
@justinn76 yes T_T
Apparently decisions already started to be released according to cc and twitter
That was the first round of RD in mid-February. The bulk of the decisions will likeky come out on March 17th.
yup usually a tuesday
What qualifies for a first round RD in mid-february vs. a Mid-March decision?
Top applicants, Scholars, major merit aid recipients for the most part were announced in the first round in February.
^ There do seem to be exceptions to that. A few people I think have posted that they were admitted in the early round of RD with no merit aid. And based on previous years, not being in the early group doesn’t mean no chance of merit aid or honors.
Yea, I was admitted in early Feb with no merit aid. I am hoping for some financial aid though, because I really want to attend.
@nanotechnology: I was trying to see some rationale in the split decision days but alas…
There’s a trend, for sure, but it’s not completely consistent.
A friend of mine who studies at Northeastern told me that we can expect decisions either on Sunday or Monday! Hope this is true.
@blueapsos1690 Northeastern usually doesn’t post decisions on a Sunday or Monday. They usually post them on a Tuesday or Thursday according to the past years, but I am hoping that what your friend said is true!!
@bballgirl222 I agree, I also think it’s more likely for it to be on Tuesday. I applied early action and was deferred; decisions were realized on a Tuesday.
released*
