<p>Dang, it might just mean nothing. But you can’t blame me for wondering</p>
<p>Unfortunately, MyNEU is separate from the Application Status Check. However, I’m confident we’ll be hearing back by this upcoming week. </p>
<p>In any event the most likely EA release date is Thursday 12/18. Or it could be Tuesday 12/16. Again no one knows, certainly not that Phillies guy.</p>
<p>Since it appears that no one reads back on these threads I’ll repeat this. In the past, on decision day, if you try and log in to the portal in the early morning you will get the message that it is unavailable. Emails will start going out at 3 PM telling you to log into the portal. The emails are staggered. It will start in MA, then New England and then move south and west. No decisions are released before 3 PM local time where you live. </p>
<p>ED decisions were released at 7:30 PM I imagine due to the small number of ED applicants. </p>
<p>Then again, they could follow a totally different pattern this year. The only thing constant at Northeastern in the past 20 years has been change. </p>
<p>And again, if you call admissions all they will tell you is “by December 31st”.</p>
<p>I think it was a lot less stressful back in the day when applicants sat by their (snail) mail boxes and waited for the postman. </p>
<p>I understand Thursday, but why Tuesday?</p>
<p>Why wouldn’t EA come out the same day as ED?</p>
<p>He mentioned Tuesday because last year EA came out on what would be the Tuesday of next week. Also because it is possible that EA would be released one week after ED.</p>
<p>I looked at the link …it’s the same way for actual students to log onto their university email an other information…not to be a buzzkill , but I have seen this from time to time on my other daughter’s myneu page. It is usually for maintenance . But that doesn’t mean that there still might be some news this coming week

<p>We will find out by the 31st but trends show that they will come out sometime this week… My friend said in the last few years it’s always been the Thursday before xmas break!!! </p>

<p>@agaglio - There are a number of threads from this and previous years about NUin. Try searching the forum. There’s been a lot of useful information posted.</p>
