deferred, NH. 2060 SAT, 3.8 GPA…disappointed but hopeful

I got excited when I checked this to see that people got there decisions but mine still isn’t up…PA here

Nothing in NY either. Maybe the nxt batch is sent at 5?

Im in NY and got my decision, check about an hour ago and it wasnt up but checked again 10 minutes ago and it was up

Deferred from Northeastern with 2100 SAT, 94 GPA and great extracurriculars and essays.

MA. Daughter was deferred with a 32 ACT and 4.2 GPA. Very surprised and disheartened as on paper NEU was a strong match.:(

I’m getting really nervous. All these people with better stats than me getting differed. Oh god

still no one denied?

Reality check!!! OMG I hate this feeling.

Anyone from jersey yet?

Wow, @Redpoodles that is nuts. When you say “on paper” I would say that your D’s stats are EXACTLY in the middle (even slightly higher) than the students walking on that campus right now…the only thing I can think of is maybe because you’re from MA? sorry!

I know I deserve getting deferred, but I see a lot of other people with more than qualified stats getting deferred. Anybody have any idea why?

Accepted to Honors program, Economics.
30 ACT and full IB

Again the stats aren’t everything…they judge holistically …they need a variety of people from all different places and interests

Do uk how many ppl are admitted into the University Honors Program just out of curiosuity

People that would have easily gotten accepted last year are getting deferred…what are they doing??

I’m freaking out right now cause apparently I thought I had sent a copy of my passport to them but they said they still didn’t have it on my application, so I literally just uploaded it.

Do you guys think that means a rejection? International applicant btw

All the other required documents are with them. I hope this doesn’t end up being some sort of fatal mistake.

No things like that if u havent uploaded they will ask you for it later…it wont stop u from getting admitted

@inam36 thank you, that’s a relief to hear

i got denied :(
