Im freakin in!!!!

Yay, academic acceptance is in!

I'm in!

Congrats everyone. It was so refreshing to wake up to an acceptance email, I was exhausted last night studying for a physics test, but now I feel like a thousand bucks...

i got deferred. i had a 1300 sat, and a 3.9 w gpa. i'm kind of curious because my friend with much lower sats and gpa got accepted. this was my 3rd choice school behind penn state and pittsburgh, but it's still disappointing to see a deferral from any school. well congrats to those who got in!

Yeah I got deferred too :/ But Elon is one of my top choices so I really hope i get in Regular Decision.

Accepted, with a Presidential Scholarship! 4.1 and 1320 SAT. Must admit, it felt kind of good...I was the only kid in my class to get accepted (I think 10 or 12 applied).

accepted with a presidential scholarship
3.27 uw and 2140, our school was 3/3, one with better stats than me and one lower

Did the Presidential Scholarship information show up on the admission status tab or do you look somewhere else?

Pohsmom,

The admissions tab on the Elon OnTrack site said nothing about the scholarship. However, I received an email from Elon, congratulating me on my acceptance, which also said I had been awarded the Presidential Scholarship and invited me to apply for their Honors Fellows program. Hope this helps!

I'm in, with the Pres scholarship. 4.3 W GPA and 1900 on SATs. I didn't send my 31 ACT, I don't think. I'm glad I have such a nice school as an option if I don't get into my EDII school. I'm only applying to four schools, so getting accepted to one with a scholarship is nice.
Congrats everyone, and good luck to anyone who needs it!

I got accepted with the presidential scholarship with a 4.11 W gpa, a 1930 SAT and 32 ACT.

I'm so excited, Elon is a great school. In my email it said I should apply for a fellows program, did everyone get that?

No I didn't get invited to the fellows program.

Accepted EA with $4500 Presidential Scholarship. Ranked #2 in class, 32 ACT, and 1970 SAT(but didn't submit).

in with a $3500 presidential scholarship...

$4,500 Presidential

I'm in!
No mention of scholarships though, but I'm really happy.
I'm not sure if I will be going for sure yet, but I'll know once I hear back from fordham and Babson...

Rex212 You should apply anyway to the Elon Fellows and Leadership program. You won't know unless you try.

I got accepted EA too, with a $4500 Presidential Scholarship. GPA of 3.69 (although I did send in my senior year Q1 report card with a 4.2 GPA), ACT 34, and SAT 1530 (w/o writing). I posted a thread earlier asking about fellows program admissions...anyone have any advice?

Also, some of the posts i've read here have been a bit disconcerting...I also read a student post on another site claiming that anyone who had taken a high school AP class would be out of place... Any comments? I was really psyched about Elon when I visited, and am just looking for some reassurance that, to put it bluntly, the kids aren't stupid.

Well I actually haven't even gotten my acceptance package yet, so I won't do anything until that happens.

Futuo, a number of my Ds friends got deferred with good grades (4.3s, etc) and some that are sure they are going are 4.8 kinda kids. Also, kids who didn't get into their Ed choice of Tufts, BC, Wake, etc apply. The kids we met when we visited had also gotten into Vanderbilt and UNC but had picked Elon for their own reasons: many due to scholarships, fellow programs and some athletics, etc. But I suspect you won't be the only bright kid there.
