Early Action Email?

I use GMAIL and it was in my spam

No email yet. The info below shows that tests, transcript, school report, and teacher evaluation all received prior to 11/1. Is there anything else that UM should have received before 11/1 for me to qualify for ED?

Thanks

did live chat with them this morning. My son is qualified and they say that the email was sent to his yahoo address. Didn’t find in the inbox or spam, but they have confirmed his status, so not too worried.

Just called admissions. They said all my stuff was in by deadline. I didn’t get an email, but now I am not too worried. They may be slow getting out the emails. They are very helpful. Now I just want to get in!!!

Just called admissions too. Apparently they sent me an email yesterday at 7:01 pm but I didn’t get it in my inbox or spam folder. Oh well, I’m glad I made the deadline and that I can hopefully get a decision by Dec. 23 :)

Also, undergraduate admissions has REALLY creepy music that they play when they put you on hold.

I literally just got mine last night telling me that I qualified

If you listed a Gmail email address as your preference make sure you at least go 1-2 days back through your Spam folder - most of us are finding it there.

I second the Gmail spam idea- I just found my email in it today. I’m from WA by the way.

is this email different from the one that u got saying they just recieved ur app and gave u ur wolf access code? cuz on wolf access it says all things in 10/12?

Yeah, I found the early action email in my Gmail Spam folder. Thanks for the help guys! I was freaking out.

For the actual decisions, will they email us? Or will they update our Wolverine Access accounts without emailing us? How was it done in the past?

^ yes, do we get an email?

Does anyone else’s WA say that they’ve been notified about 7th semester grades?

Mine does, and I haven’t been sent any typer of email or any sort of notification. I don’t know if it’s an acceptance and they want my grades to confirm like most colleges do, or if it’s a deffer and they want them. Either way I haven’t been notified of anything and i’m just confused and frustrated.

where on WA does it say that about your 7th semester grades?

under the “view criteria” tab.

credentials? hmm that’s interesting. i don’t see anything about that there for me…it would seem like that would indicate a deferral…but you can’t say anything for sure.

or…did you think you’d be definitely in based on your stats/essays/etc? maybe they just made your decision fairly quickly and it shows up that way

see, thats what i’ve been overly debating. I cant decide whether it means defer, or if ill even get a decision until I send my grades in as I got my application in on September 20th, and it’s said that since around Nov. 1st.

I think, honestly, that most of us will get deferred. UM has switched to the Common App, and it is has most likely received tons more applicants than it did last year. It will suck being deferred (or maybe even denied) but that is what I expect will occur.

There’s evidence that a school’s applicant pool starts to changes a year or two after that school adopts the commonapp. I forgot which schools showed this, but it’s been discussed. So Michigan '15, please stop worrying…
