Early Action for International Students

EECS <- usually one dept in schools :p
UIUC & UMich are excellent schools for both EE and CS.

UIUC doesn't need any recos, UMich requires 1 GC rec and 1 Teacher rec, and they can be filled online by your teacher and GC respectively.

from my previous post: Last year my friends went to Abu Dhabi to give their AP's, coz none of the schools in Dubai/Sharjah were willing to accept home schooled students

And merc like you SAT scores is not the only factor ;)

Hello, I don't think Schools are allowed to discriminate between home-schooled, and other students. I think this matter should've been filed to College Board immediately. But oh well.

I think I'm going to register tomorow, or Sat. There's no time to waste. . . .

As for Michigan, can I prepare the recommendations now and send it by late august? (Of course, the GC report at the end of the year)

yeah but I'm not sure if they re-use their teacher rec forms!!

Ask Alexandre, he will knoe for sure :D

Hey over here they don't even consider a 'home-schooled' student as a "student." AFAIK, no university or entrance exam will accept a home schooled kid.

Damn, that's harsh. Again, the 'home-schooled' graduates I've seen are way brighter than me . . and they did the GED, so that gave them a plus.
