I've read somewhere that it was appropriate to only apply early action to one college. Is this true? And, as a corollary, can a college see all the other colleges you have applied to and when you have applied to them?
Thanks!

You can apply early action to as many schools as you want as long as none of the institutions to which you’re applying places any application restrictions. There are colleges that have “single-choice early action” or some form of “restricted early action” that prevents you from applying early to multiple schools.

No, colleges cannot easily see what other colleges you’re applying to or when you have applied to other colleges.
