Early Action vs Regular Decision

Does applying regular decision lower your chances of getting in? I was applying early action but i submitted my application too close to the deadline so I may be considered regular decision according to an admissions counselor I talked to.
My stats are
GPA: 4.5 weighted (school doesn’t report unweighted)
SAT: 1210
14 honors/AP
Major Applying For: Liberal Arts (undecided)

Also I marked yes for summer session

You are at no admissions disadvantage with regular decision as opposed to early. Applying AFTER regular decision will lessen your chances slightly, but early decision is the same as regular. As a liberal arts major, you look pretty good, especially for summer.
