Sorry you didn’t get your letters today, guys. I hope you get them tomorrow, but don’t be too disappointed if it’s next week!

Definitely online before mail IMO.

Really hoping they’ll release them tomorrow!! If not, does anyone know if the admissions office is closed on Monday?

I’m dyingggg. Would they ever put someone on the wait list that applied EA? And if so do you think deferral or wait listed is better??? I’m just hoping for anything but a flat out no…

it is snowing in Chapel Hill which means the university/admissions office may be closed tomorrow…I hope we still find out!

Monday is a holiday which lends credence to release late Friday – they’ll be out of office until Tuesday which will give people to calm down and accept whatever news they get

The University rarely closes, so it in not likely that the admissions office will be closed tomorrow. We are only supposed to get 1-3 inches, so the snow should not impact access to the campus.

Yeah, the snow day is only for classes. Administration works around the clock and only breaks for holiday.

I still think it will be tomorrow!

UGHHHH its been over 2 months since we all applied! We deserve to know nowww. I just wanna get my rejection over with Speaking of, I heard acceptances come in obvious, large envelopes, and a rejection/deferral would be in a smaller envelope… correct? (Just trying to change the topic a little so you guys aren’t all saying “ahhh I’m so nervous!” LOL)

@terma420, that’s usually true for all schools haha.

ahhh I’m so nervous!

tennis625-Some OOS scholarship day notifications went out on the 17th. I’ll bet everyone hears tomorrow! Good luck!

It’s been over 3 months which I do find ridiculous and stressful. Hope we know soon so we can move on. Good luck all.

Good luck guys! (If they come out today)

So it looks like there is no email letting students know, it’s by portal notification?

These past few days make me SO glad I’m in state. I was deferred from UVA out of state, and from what it appears UNC OOS is about as difficult as Duke or Georgetown.

That’s not true haha, I’ve gotten a couple acceptances in smaller envelopes. Some schools like to trick you.

I really hope it’s today…this whole not giving a date thing is awful

No mail yet?
