Early Applicants: Is the wait killing you too!?

I'm so nervous!! In a month I will be looking at either an acceptance, defer, or rejection. I just cant wait! this is the biggest thing to happen to me and it will change the next four years of my life! Anyone else share my feelings?

Tell me about it. Though I suppose for me, it’s even more foolish because my SCEA college is an HYP Ivy, and I’ll most likely be getting a rejection.

Yes! I really don’t wanna get deferred and wait four more months :(

My EA app is for a safety, but I really want to know whether I get money from them, so I guess I should be anxious. xP My matches and reaches are RD apps.

I just turned in my ED app, and frankly I’m just numb haha. I don’t feel like wasting my energy being anxious. Ready for thanksgiving and winter break xD

I applied ED and EA, but chances are pretty slim…
starting dec 15th I get 2 weeks off for break til jan 1st. If I get in either schools those 2 weeks will be awesome otherwise it will be a mad dash to get regular apps in.
ahh! 4 years of high school leading up to this. :P

Same here, if I don’t get my ED, my 2 week break will suck. My chances are slim as well.

It’s about a months wait. The wait isn’t killing me, I’m just a bit excited with a teaspoon of apathy. Hey, life is life, time to just enjoy and live it. All my work so far is done, senior year = time to relax. Even if, by chance, I get deferred, I’ll be disappointed, but not for long.

Does everyone hear back on the 15th?

@Nina No, not necessarily. Depends on when your school finishes reviewing the apps. If your school says that you will know by dec. 15th, you might hear back a week earlier or even a few days before, but the latest day you will get your decisions by is the 15th. My school for example, says that I will know by the 31st, but students usually find out starting the 15th; therefore, there is reason to believe that I will find out a month from now.
