Early Decision 2 Help

I applied to Tufts ED 2 and have logged into my application portal. My application was submitted but where it says early decision form, it still says awaiting. But the thing is that, next to early decision form there is a date like everything else that was submitted. My parents and I have signed the ED form on common app so why is it still showing a problem. Please tell me how I can fix it.

Another thing is that I sent my SATs late (Jan 1st) … will it reach in time for ED 2… if not, can I request my application to be deferred to RD? I would love to go to Tufts so I would really appreciate help from you guys.

Thank you so much and all the best to you guys too

You might want to contact Tufts about the portal. Does it have a green check next to “Parent” section on common app?
As long as your scores/transcripts/rec letters get sent by the third week of January (the 22nd), you’re fine
I applied to Tufts ED 2 too!! Best of luck to both of us

At least for ED (1), there is (also) a hard copy (paper form) that you, your parents, and your guidance counsellor all sign which then has to be mailed to the university. That may be what they are waiting for…

some things take longer than others to upload to the portal, so often times the school will say wait a week and then contact them if it still doesn’t reflect the correct information. The ED agreement isn’t a terrible thing to be missing, but if they truly haven’t received it they will contact you, so don’t worry!

Thank you guys so much for your replies. But I am confused. We needed to send a paper document? It does not say anything about that on the website and yes I have seen the form. I thought that was for previous years and nowadays everything is done through common app. Now I only thought that my parents, counselor and me have to sign electronically and it is all done. My friends (a lot of them have applied ED to many colleges and none of them required a paper form!!). Help me please. I am an international student so everything takes longer here.

On the website it says, “In order to acknowledge that you wish to be considered under the early decision program, you must submit a signed Early Decision Form. The form must be signed by the student, either a parent or a guardian, and a guidance counselor. You will find the Early Decision Form on the Common Application site when you apply.”

On the common app there was the little form that made me sign under it (electronically) and my parents and counselor got an email that they signed. I thought that was enough. There was no link or hint that I had to sign a paper form and send it physically.

Thank you so much for you help guys.

Hey its all good now, my form shows a check mark. Thanks for all your help.

Just one last question. Do I need to send them my CSS and Certification of finances or just CSS is fine for now and COF is required after decisions come out.
