Hello, I'm a new user who happened upon the site while looking for Swarthmore information, thought I'd ask what experienced users thought my chances were looking like!

I'm low 20's out of about 400 kids in my class (got my GPA dragged down by a C+ in an art class, but my core classes are all A's except for a couple B+'s in one semester of an AP class).

I have a 32 on the ACT as my best overall composite, but then my best individual sections have been

33 science, 33 reading, 33 english, 29 math and 10 on the writing.

I have gotten only 4's and 5's on 5 AP tests I've taken, and will be taking 4 more this year.
I have a mentor for French because I exceeded the AP class offered at my school, I am very close to fluent after starting my freshmen year.
I also finished the English curriculum offered, so I am taking University classes paid for by my school currently.

A bit of EC's:
I work as the Director of an internship program for a City Councilwoman, I also worked in a management position on her campaign.
I volunteer to teach tennis lessons to kis who can't afford to take them regularly.
I volunteer as a counselor at a summer camp, I have for the past 5 years.
I volunteered at the local children's zoo for 4 years, having been asked back each year.
I was voted President of our school's NHS chapter.
I am very involved in ceramics at my school.
Co Captain of the varsity tennis team this year, also won multiple sportsmanship awards etc.

I'm also planning on doing Political Science as my major if that makes any difference.

I know my academics aren't all that great, but I thought the worst they could do was say no, and that's the same result I'd get if I didn't apply!
I'm applying Early Decision as I said, so I really love this school and would be so happy to get in. Looking like a pretty big reach at the moment, or what do you guys think?

Thanks!
