early decision responses!

when is duke sending out the responses for early decision? is it on the 15th? what time on the 15th PST? will it be before the 15th? how do i check the decisions online?

we will probably get an email sometime next week telling us the exact details on when you can check. go to admissions.duke.edu, then hit application checklist, log in, and go to decision letter. i'm guessing it will be right there letting you know. as to the exact date though, they'll tell us that in an email most likely early next week.

lloyd where on earth do you see anything that says decision letter?

where does it say "decision letter"?

When I applied ED back in fall of 2005 the decision was released on december 15, 2005 at 6pm. Emails detailing when and how to check was sent out on december 8, 2005. And yes, I did get to see an electronic copy of the actual decision letter that I later received in the mail. Of course things might have changed since then, but I doubt it.

It was handled the same way for Fall 2006

when i'm on admissions.duke.edu, and i hit application checklist under ''the D'' header, there are tabs that say application forms, financial aid, decision letter, and general information

same thing for Fall 2007...we found out on the 10th. They gave us notification like a week before for when we could look online.

Has anyone called and asked? When I look in other threads they seem to be getting their responses earlier...

yeah thats a good idea..but its hard for me to time it right and call them because i am on PST, so when i get out of school at like 3:00, the office is already closed.

Yeah same here. The whole PST/EST thing really screws me over when I have to call Collegeboard for something or another. Hm I'll try to call sometime soon though.

do you think they have finalized all the decisions by now?
personally I think getting the decisions through phone call is a little bit weird... I mean, it's totally ok if we get accepted, but in the case the response is deferral or rejection, I think I'd prefer a more private way of knowing it... I don't know, just my opinion

I don't think they are calling people for deferral or rejection? I REALLY want to know when decisions are coming out!!!!!!!

hm, I thought the people above were talking about CALLING the admission office for results, not BEING CALLED?

Oh, my confusion-- I can not even think straight!! has someone called??

we were talking about calling the admissions not for our personal decisions, but for info on when it will be posted online
