Hi! I'm a high school senior and looking to go into veterinary medicine. I've been accepted into Mississippi State's Early Entry Program (Pre-Acceptance to their Veterinary School) and would be joining MSU's undergraduate class of 2018. I would just like to know if anyone else has been admitted and is thinking of going into this program. I haven't heard of any others on any website who are going into this program and I would love to connect with some other like minded kids!

hi bailey

Who is bailey?

I’ve been accepted

Hi MSUVet! If I may ask, are you going into the program for sure? How did you hear about it? What were your stats? Also, Congratulations on your acceptance!

I am going into the program for sure. I heard about it through my parents who know people who applied previously. My ACT is 34 and my GPA is 4.00. What are your stats? Grats to you as well! :D

Awesome! Are you from the South too, or from another part of the country? My ACT was a 33 and my wGPA was a 4.43 and uwGPA was a 4.0! I have experience working with marine mammals for 3 1/2 years and have been working at a vet clinic this year! Were you looking at any other of the pre-acceptance programs anywhere else?

I’m from Birmingham, Alabama. No. I only applied for MSU’s early entry. Were you at honors orientation on April 7th?

No, I didn’t apply to Honors, which I am kind of bummed about… They had a booth for the Early Entry Program there too, right?

Yea they did.

Did it have any new information?

not really. just got to meet a lot of the people in the early entry program
