I'm a Junior and my school gave me the choice to graduate C/O 2013! I was excited and I took the chance. I started applying to colleges and I was officially considered a Senior.
I just got my first rejection letter from my 1st choice college and I'm starting to reconsider early graduation.

I have a 3.0 UW GPA and a 3.8 Weighted. 22 ACT 1490 SAT.

I took the chance with early grad because I have all my credits and I don't see what's left for me at my high school. I love the Senior class and the Junior class and I just don't click. I KNOW that I'm ready for college, but why go if I can't go to a good one?

Which colleges are on your list? Which courses did you take in high school, and what courses would be available to you if you stayed another year? If you took a gap year, what would you do with it?

Honest opinion, it is not that your graduating early that is hurting you it is your test scores and GPA. Have you looked through the forum at the Colleges you are interested in to see what test scores and GPA are needed for acceptance?

Your stats are a bit low right now. High enough that you will get into college, but low enough that many schools will be unrealistic. I would recommend not graduating early, you need the rest of this year to raise your GPA and improve that ACT score.

Stay a high school student and take dual enrollment classes at a local community college, if possible.
First of all, the credits will be free and you can transfer them after graduation, so you’ll save money.
Second of all, your GPA and test scores aren’t really high enough to make most colleges believe you’re ready for early graduation. I think they’re below the national averages. An extra year will raise your test scores even if you don’t specifically study for the tests.
