early graduation?

My dd has an opportunity to finish required courses for graduation after first semester of senior year. She has all her required classes - just nothng extra. Her grades are opkay. She would really like to be out of the high school environment and take classes at a community college until she goes away to college in the fall.
She is applying to art schools in Manhatten. My question is are the colleges going to look favorably on her leaving high school early?
One more thing, she already has 9 college credits (a's) from pre-college summer programs. She obviously does better in a college environment. However, I don't want her to risk her chances of getting into college.

thanks for any help you can offer.

I don't see how it would hurt her. Applications will be in. My nephew did the same. He got into his first choice college. He's a really smart underachiever, and his college that has a fairly high acceptance rate as it appeals to a select few.

I agree with mathmom -- I don't see how it can hurt your D. Sorry her HS years weren't more rewarding socially, but it is what is. Good luck to your D in college!
