We r military being sent yet again overseas for 3'yrs. My D is 14 and only needs 5 credits to graduate which includes both english 11 & 12. Do u think it is best to graduate early even if she will only have just turned 16 a week prior to graduation? or dual enroll at the University of Maryland even though she will be taking classes with a bunch of 25 yr old airman? Or just stay in the Dodds high school retaking everything for 2 yrs just in AP just to keep her in high school? She is extremely advanced and studious especially for her age & doesnt quite fit in w/ her peers because of this....... But this is awfully young.... What to do?

What grade is your daughter, now? Are you saying that your family needs to move, and you don’t know if she should graduate early from her present school as a sophomore, or wait, enroll in the high school of her new residence and “retake” everything?
Are you sure she would need to retake the same classes? I don’t see it that way. In 11th, she would have her English class, and whatever the 11th grade advanced math class is (Calc AB AP?) , a language (start a new one if she has already mastered one), an advanced science, which could be AP Chem , and then whatever AP history they offer- US, Art History, or World. Repeat in grade 12 with English, Calc BC AP, AP Physics, more language and another AP History. I don’t see doing this “just to keep her in high school” but to strengthen the core subjects so that she will slide into advanced courses in college. She can also fill in with art or other electives. Good luck.

I don’t think I would put my 14 year old in college unless she was truly a prodigy and so driven academically that she would be unhappy in high school. I don’t get the feeling that this is your situation.
