Easiest Gen Eds for a Possible Finance Major

Keep in mind that I don’t care at all for science, art, and english (sort of) classes. Specifically, I’d love to never take a Chemistry class or drawing class. Anyways, what are the easiest classes for each gen ed category, and which are the best professors for each of those easiest gen ed classes?

That’s a tall order you’re asking for, y’know? Don’t know how quick someone can back to you on that who goes to the same school.

My two cents: have you tried asking that on a local app like Yik-yak? You can often get the opinions of other students in the school who have taken easy GEs. At the same time, try using ratemyprofessors.com to check the ratings for professors in those potential GE classes you might end up taking.

Hope that helps, if only a little.

It is a detailed question, however I’ve seen some people give surprisingly detailed answers before. Yes, I’ve been checking out RMP, and I will continue to do so more often as the time to schedule classes approaches. Thanks for the advice.

@tlanda3 I have the same problem. I want to take the easy gen eds since we need a 3.5 to get in. I heard its pretty easy to get an A in plant science

Make sure you scroll down to the comments…There is a companion piece about Gen eds that are hard, and one regarding Gen Eds that are great (but perhaps not simple). Keep in mind that by the time you schedule, many things will be full, so have several alternates ready.
Also, make full use of the watchlist texting app – during the week before classes star, and then the first week, lots of people switch classes and seats open up.

Do not trust that Onward state article, a lot of those are a disaster waiting to happen.

A lot of the easiest ones you wont be able to schedule, like inart or some of the online theater classes, because they get filled up by the time seniors and athletes schedule. Also, by the time you go to orientation and schedule you wont get the luxury of picking what you want really, since you’ll be the last group to schedule.

My advice: dont worry about this until youre scheduling for spring semester and youve figured the system out for yourself a bit.
