I'm thinking about taking either Chinese or Korean. Which is easier or are there any other easier ones?

I have taken a year and a half of college Chinese, but only have a shallow depth of understanding of Korean. I believe you can compare Chinese and Korean similarly to Chinese and Japanese. There is a steep learning curve in Chinese due to the tones and characters, but it becomes easier as you advance, whereas Korean and Japanese are initially easy but then become very difficult as the grammar becomes more complicated. You also have honorifics in Japanese and Korean. So if you’re taking less than a year, I would say Korean is easier, but after that it’s Chinese.
