Yes I was the only person in my class that despised Gatsby but didn't mind Black Boy and the Grapes of Wrath...Gatsby was a moron

I read the Great Gatsby this year, too...not for school, but just because i'm the man. I though it was a great book (and it paid off last week when I wrote my 15 pg F Scott Fitzgerald research paper, of which a summary/anaylsis of the Great Gatsby makes up a page).

I didnt really go into detail on my assignments, so:

AP Calc: Study for ch 6, 7, 8 test (it's AB, so we only did the sections needed for the AB exam, about half of 6 and 7, and only a few pgs of 8).
AP Chem: Quiz on naming organic compounds and nuclear decay (last of year :) )..luckily he's taking it out of 100 pts, which might help my grade.
Spanish: Finish typing my group's written report/get pictures, prepare notes for my part of our oral presentation
APUSH: Outline of LBJ's foreign affairs for each member of my Presidential Outline group/essay on JFK.
Physics: I have a test, but the class is taught at an 8th grade level so there's no point in studying
English: no assignments

5 day Easter break (Thursday-Monday), already had spring break

AP Art History - read read read, but I haven't read since November and I don't plan on starting now
AP Art Studio - typical weekly sketchbook assignment
AP Lit - paper due Wednesday on a lie we've told or been told, research paper due April 28th on a book of our choosing (though that was assigned in January)
AP Physics - the usual AP Practice free response
AP Calc - practice MC section
Religion - work on presentation that's due in May (so nothing)

Calc BC = 3 MC tests + 8 years OR
Physics C*2 = 4 MC tests + 10 years OR
Stats = linear regression + 1 practice test, and to finish writing programs for the test.
CS AB = redo marine bio case study

ha ha linear regression! I laughed at my stats teacher the week she taught us that..that's freaking algebra 1, she didn't understand that

5-day break (long weekend) Thurs-Mon.

English: NA
Math: NA
APUSH: Full-length AP test :(
Phys: problem set/reading. Yuck.
AP French: NA

And I'm putting this one on myself-but 200 pages of APUSH guide reading and 200 pages of AP French guide reading. :( (GRRR....Crunch time for APs...)

What pains me most is actually the phys homework. I despise phys and all science.

I'm sure I have hw, but I don't know what it is. Haven't done anything in months. Senior year is fun like that.

english-2essay
us history-1chapter summary
physics-1chapter paper work

AP US History: notes on one chapter, not bad.
English: read 5 chapters, not bad.
AP Calculus: 4 assignments, eh.
AP Biology: 4 essays, one practice test, read 4 chapters and answer 22 questions, one make up essay I have to do for cutting class... wow, there goes Spring Break.

Enjoy freshman year. Man, that was one of the greatest years ever. Sophomore year was the best for me. I had little homework last year. Life was great. Until this year came.

Yeah, I enjoy freshman year, don't worry. For some wierd reason, I've been told that the freshman year is the hardest in terms of adaptation (wow, it's that big of a transition?) and that the senior year is the easiest. But I guess this excludes people who are taking APs.

Senior year is the hardest year. Whoever made up that statement about senior year being the easiest year is the worst liar ever.

They say that because of the belief that you'll most likely have all your credits done early. Hence, you can leave campus after just half a day. But then again, there's just a select few of us who are taking the "Distinguished Achievement Program". There'll only be about 5 people in my AP World History class next year, I bet.

I got by far my lowest grades freshman year because I didn't know I could do so well. I got by far the most work so far sophomore year because the teachers were crazy and loved labs and research. This year (junior) hasn't been bad. My grades have been their highest and the work is moderate. Senior will be hard if I go full fledged AP like I plan to, but then again, most APs are science and labs are easy for me, unlike term papers

I've never had much homework in all my years of high school. It's been nice. I rarely do assignments at home. Even this year (senior), with 5 APs, I do little to zero work at home (except major papers and projects).

Senior year is the hardest, but it's been the most fun.

I have found that the most homework came freshman year by far; since AP classes never hand out anything but reading, junior year has been the easiest. It will be even easier when I have no history classes to take next year, even though I will have 8 APs.

30-page term paper on tragedy due in two weeks, and my teacher assigned it to us last week...what a splendid this spring break will be

yeah sophomore year was great...not much hw, plenty of free periods. junior year=lightest workload, but most studying/reading (i can't really remember doing either of those until this year)
looking at my schedule next year, i'm thinking senior year will be glorious. i hope so.
