Eclectic Student Searching for Colleges...

I'm a student interested in (roughly in order of priority):

Economics (and Finance and Business)

International Relations

Comparative Literature

Engineering: Electrical/Environmental

Computer Science

Philosophy

Environmental Science

Gender Studies, particularly Women's Studies

Digital Design

I realize that's a lot! So I was wondering if you could provide me with suggestions for schools superb in each of those fields and/or some schools that are solid in many of the fields above.

My hard stats: SAT I 2330; SAT II Physics 800, World History 800, Literature 750, planning to take more SAT IIs. Rank should be top 10%, but GPA is not ideal (my school has harsh grading).

Also, I'm an international student from China.

Thanks for your help!

I’d be inclined to choose Princeton. Probably the best balance between all the majors you mentioned. On the west coast the Claremont consortium (Claremont Mckenna, Harvey Mudd). A bit easier to get into would be Univ of Southern California.

Colleges that are strong in those fields (from most prestigious)
Stanford
MIT
UPenn
Columbia
Cornell
Northwestern
Berkeley
UMich
Georgetown
Carnegie Mellon
NYU

I think you have a good chance at all the schools given your impressive SATI/II scores.

Thanks for the list!

Any suggestions for safeties/matches?

When you say “eclectic,” the first school that comes to mind is Brown University. Take a look at that, and see if you’re interested.

Any suggestions for matches?
Hi match -USC
