econmic matters?

i've heard one of the seniors said that low economics have some impact on the number of the international students accepted.
is it true?
because i'm applying next year and i'm kinda worry...

I don’t think that it’s necessarily related to international students but students with the ability to pay full fare. If there aren’t enough of them in the US, then they will accept more international students that can pay full fare.

I talked to a coworker recently about graduate schools that a friend’s son was thinking about. He didn’t have the best of undergraduate records but was accepted to Boston University and two other noname schools. His friend is a wealthy businessman that lives in China and money isn’t an issue.

thanks that makes me feel a lot better
but it matters when it comes to financial aids right?
especially when it’s a public school
