Economics 101

I'm looking at classes for next semester and I noticed that Kelley isn't teaching Economics 101 and there's new professors that seem to have not taught it before (based on rate my professor), does anyone know why Kelley might not be teaching it?

She is teaching intro to Macro which she usually has in the past. Sorensen who was just hired away from Stanford and another prof are teaching Intro to Micro.

If you would like extra small group help in Economics 101, check out the Business Learning Center (BLC); apply early in the semester to be assigned to a group that meets twice a week.

Thanks both of you for your information, I will sign up with the BLC!

I don’t recommend Kelly. I am in her Econ 101 class right now. She only wants to talk about her kids, tell random stories that take an hour to even set up, and go on random tangents - she once spent 30 minutes discussing the definition of “business casual.” She likes to give you life lessons and tips, which are all geared towards freshmen, and if you are not a first-semester freshman you will likely be annoyed. I am horrible at econ and math and I find it easier to sit home during lecture and teach myself the material. I really don’t recommend taking her class.
