Economics and Math

I'm very knowledgeable of general economics and business and am very interested in pursuing a career in economics and have already enrolled as an ECON major but I have a simple question.

How much math is involved with econ majors?

Currently at all my schools I've been accepted I'm accepted to their econ department which is part of their liberal arts school.

I am very bad at math and it is something I truly dislike, however I have had interest in the stock market and economics for years and want to know if I can make this work. If there is a lot of math involved, how difficult is it?

As long as you’re not doing a mathematical economics track, the amount of math isn’t too bad as most programs only require calculus 1. However, if you are not a good “analytical” thinker, you will likely still struggle.

My universities econ major only requires Business Statistics I.
