Economics... What's the difference?

What's the difference between two economics degrees offered at the same university?

I am looking at this university and it offers two economics degrees, one in the college of arts and sciences and the other in the college of business.

What's the difference?

If you want to look at them, go to the University of Oklahoma's website and search for them.

If you need me to; I will post both later, but for now I need to crash.

Thanks!

The coursework in Economics is essentially the same. The main difference is that if you complete the degree in the business college, you have to complete a core of courses in business.

If you’re not interested in pursuing a graduate degree in economics, you’re likely better off with the economics degree in the business school. You’ll learn the basics of accounting, finance, marketing, etc. that are useful for entry-level business careers. Although if you’re interested in a graduate program, you’re better off with the degree from the college of arts and sciences. You’ll likely take more math and theory courses there.
