ED 1: anyone heard yet

Son applied ED1 and is anxious to hear. Does anyone know how G'Burg notifies and when?
For example, I've read some schools mail results ~12-10/12-11. Others may notify by email first and follow with snail mail. What has anyone heard?

Coincidentally, we received acceptance letter today by mail! woohoo

My son got a positive ED1 response from Gettysburg on Friday, Dec. 5. He submitted his application on Oct. 31 but I don't know if that affected when it got read.
Good luck and I hope you hear soon.

My daughter also received her ED acceptance on Friday.
Pressure is now off!

jeannemga & JVP1,
Congratulations!

I received online notification of my decision today . . .

GOT IN!!!

Create an account at gettysburg.edu and you'll know your son's/daughter's decision(s) too. Just fill in the blanks and the system will locate the status of your child's application for you. Good luck.

My son heard on Friday that he was accepted ED1. Wow, I am so glad the pressure is off. Congrats to all who have been accepted.

My son has an online account but does not show anything regarding his acceptance. Aside from registering for an account is there something else you did to trigger your application status?

Thanks in advance for the tip.

No. I just created an account at the website and when I logged in, I found, written in congratulatory terms, "WELCOME!". It was an unbelievable feeling.

I am not sure but I think you can make two or more accounts to locate the same application. While filling in the required fields, only change the email address (it doesn't have to be the commonapp one or one which he uses). Don't change the postal address, for the system uses it to locate applications.

I hope your S isn't prowling around to maul me :) Anyway. Best of luck.
