ED Agreement for Cornell

If you want, you can attach a resume (generally not recommended).

So Hectorbo, would the commonapp would be the only place for our ECs then? besides if you write about them on your essay?

thanks

Yes. If you really have a LOT of ECs that you cannot fit into common app. Then, you should attach a resume. Otherwise, if you're just going to rehash the stuff you put in the common app, then you better not. The reason for this is because colleges want to focus on your most important activities (not on things like a 2-day workshop).

Ok thanks for the reply (:

Should I put attatch a resume as an additional material?

I have a bit of EC's but put my most important (really major) ones on my common app, but I cant describe them at all other than saying what it is. It like a 50 letter limit or something. On my resume all my EC's are described in more detail along with community service and jobs.

I attach a "resume-like" page on to the additional material. I just summarized my ECs in the "EC" area of the common application, so I send in an additional page to elaborate on my ECs. It is however, not a resume.
