ED Agreement for Cornell

The Ed AGreement Form doesn't show up. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem? or does Cornell not require one which doesnt make sense.

Alright so my school's guidance office secretary told me that I need to bring in my ED Agreement form which should be in the supplements section after I selected the Early Decision option in the "Future Plans" section of common app. However, it doesn't come upp!!! I selected ED for other random colleges in common app just to see if they worked, and for them, the ED AGreement form came up in the supplements section. I don't know why it doesn't come up for cornell. Don't all schools who have ED option require the Early Decision Agreement that must be mailed???

Should I just select ED for another college just so I can open up and print the form and send it to the guidance office and then select back to ED for cornell on common app??

Cornell does not need ED Agreement. I think it incorporates that in the supplement.

Ah i see. So no ED agreement necessary? In the supplement, when they want your signature under Application Details, am I supposed to just type in my first and last name? That's what they want for my signature right?

No no no no no, Shifu that is WRONG.
My guidance counselor told me I needed the ED Agreement for Cornell and it's located in the "Downloads" section of the HOMEPAGE of the commonapp site, the page where they ask for your login information!
Disregard what Shifu Yoda said

are there any other schools that have "block "or "one class at a time" than Cornell or colorado?

Thank you so much ChandlerBing! But I wonder why for Cornell the ED Agreement form did not appear on the supplements section as it should..Also, all other schools that require the ED form mention it on their website but Cornell did not. Cornell has a list of all the application materials/forms listed but ED was not included..hmmm..

ED Agreement is not part of Cornell Application. It's not on the check list (and not discussed at all). My cousin got in Cornell ED without submitting ED Agreement (on paper).

Cornell's ED Agreement is in its supplement. I repeat, Cornell's ED Agreement i in its supplement. Sigh...

I fully understand and agree to the conditions of the early-decision plan as explained in the Cornell viewbook. If accepted, I agree to withdraw any other college applications and pay the enrollment deposit as required. I understand that Cornell University reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission if the conditions of the early-decision plan are not met.

Woah. This is Cornell College, not Cornell University. Make sure you are applying to the right school. Cornell College is in Iowa, Cornell University is in New York.

"kimmy

are there any other schools that have "block "or "one class at a time" than Cornell or colorado?"

the school that has this one class at a time policy is Cornell College, not Cornell University, thus why dtop made that comment.

chillax 2009senior, some people actually DO know what they are talking about before they post things.

Thanks chendrix, I guess I should have specifically addressed Kimmy in my post. No need to get hostile, 2009senior...

kimmy: Cornell College in Iowa & Colorado College are the only two schools using the one course at a time teaching method. Dartmouth College is the next best where students usually take three courses per trimester.
Regarding Cornell University ED: A separate agreement is required.

Last year no separate agreement was required and I would guess it's the same this your. On the supplement checking the ed box and signing your name essentially binds you to the ed contract. Guidance counselors can be wrong, he/she seems to have told you to dl a generic ed agreement and send it in.

So... we don't need a separate ED agreement?

(I will probably call Cornell tomorrow to ask several questions.)

if you call Cornell, please post the answers ASAP cause I'm sending in my Cornell application on Friday :O

A separate ED Agreement is not needed; ED Agreement is incorporated in the supplement. Calm down calm down.

I'm doing early D for Cornell University as well. What else is there? supplementary essay and personal essay...that's about it right? are any of you guys doing art?

I am sending in a CD with 2 songs from Baroque Era. I don't know about the standard or expectations though.

How about our resume?
Do we send that in?
