i plan to give my SAT II on nov 6th but swarthmore's ED deadlline is on nov 15th. However i wrote this same info and mailed it to the admissions office at swarthmore and asked if i should use rush reporting and the reply said that i should. now normally SAT scores come out 3 weeks after giving the test, so that would be nov 27th, then with rush reporting scores go at around nov 29th. now would that let swarthmore consider my SAT II scores or will they just ignore it if it comes later. i'm really confused here even though i already asked about this to the admissions office because the answer was "yes you should use rush reporting" and nothing else was elaborated. so any help would be appreciated. thank you!!

If they said that they’ll accept the scores if you use rush reporting, that means they’ll accept them and consider them. Trust them on this–why would they lie to you?

They can’t read everyone’s ED applications right away, so they might not have gotten to yours yet–or else there will be something in the file saying “SATII scores pending” and they’ll get an update when the scores come in. Either way, it’s not going to hurt your chances. Take a deep breath.
