The summer before junior year I did research on this protein in bacteria (I’m being sort of vague just in case someone sees me on here who knows me haha) and applied that info to a homologous protein in humans. Siemens semifinalist with that 
This summer was a complete flop… did research on DNA repair and never finished my project so no competitions for me :(.</p>

<p>I did research on the growth pattern of the cerebellum in mice. My research was inconclusive being that it is what my mentor has been studying for years.</p>

<p>@billabongboy9828: According to what I’ve gleaned from yaybrown, this is what theoretically happens:</p>
<ol>
<li>On your application summary page there will be a button to click for decisions</li>
<li>Click the button, and do “page view” and “search source.”</li>
<li>Do control + F5, and then seach “AO.” </li>
</ol>
<p>If you see AO, you’re apparently accepted. It has something to do with the system Brown uses, Banner. I don’t know if I trust it, and if my directions are incorrect, I apologize. I’m not well-informed either.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t trust the A0 considering they could easily change to code so that A0 means rejected instead of accepted. Also, adcom would have known about this by know.</p>
