ED BU Applicants for 2022

@Taylorwicks when did you get accepted? I have a 28 ACT and a 3.83 GPA from junior year but senior year mid-year grades it went down to 3.76. I’m so nervous because I have an interesting background but I do not have the money to pay for the college. I applied for financial aid but do you think because of how much financial aid they would need to give me they won’t?

does anybody have the “ our records indicate” message? i feel like everyone including myself has the thank you message and if we all have it then the whole acceptance/ deferral thing might not be right for this (ED 2)

@ccollege123 I have our records indicate for ED2, do you know what that means??? I’m freaking out

Alright, friends… When is this decision coming out???

On my application portal it says:

“Our records indicate that you have applied to the Human Physiology Program in the College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College for the September 2018 semester.”

and

“Our records currently indicate that your application for admission is complete. Please note that the status of your application file and the required credentials are only accurate to date.”

*******Is this normal??? does this follow the whole accepted/deferral/denied thing with the language? or does everyone has this mesasge on their portal right now?

I have the same thing as yours.

me too, i’m worried, what are your guys’ scores and gpa?

I was in communication with the admissions office and was told that my ED II application with BU is complete. In the beginning, I had an “Our records indicate” message. However, now I have the “Thank You” message. I attended a summer program at BU with recommendations from their professors and have made myself known to many of their admissions staff, but my stats are not great. My weighted GPA is 3.8 (unweighted isn’t great) and ACT is a 22… Lots of work with a major national charitable organization.

I applied ED2 as well and have the “Thank you” message, hoping for the best!!!

Hey guys, I have the “Our Records Indicate” message and I’m so scared. BU is my dream school. I’m so devastated.

did anyone else get a housing email?

@ashleyarilynn. I think we concluded somewhere in these threads that the our records message doesn’t necessarily correlate for EDII and RD. Let’s hope, bc we are RD and have our records. We’ve done all we can do; the rest is out of our hands.
@nija24 RD here and did not get a housing email

I have the “Thank You” message and I’m ED II yet I have not received a housing email.

Should we assume the housing email is a sign of acceptance?

For some reason, I don’t think it is. It seems to me to be a general email. Are the people getting the housing email in state? Out of state? Are they all from Boston and BU wants to reiterate that they need to live on campus? Is this brand new this year? I don’t think we know enough yet, imo. My D is RD, so I don’t even know if any RD students have received one.

Did I miss something? Did every EDI student who was accepted get a housing email? If so, then I would feel better saying it means something. And if they received it, when in the process did the email come - before or after acceptance? Still lots of questions.

does someone without/with the housing email mind sharing their stats??

I have the “thank you” message and also received the housing email.

So here are my stats
Girl, asian, upper class
School: SHA
SAT: 1320

The messages on the portal have to mean something. Otherwise we would all have the same default message. They probably need a way to split the applicant into pools of denied/defferal, and acceptance. Not sure which each one means but they definitely do stand for something. They are a definite thing for ED1 but last year on ED2 there was the same trend except one person who recieved a “thank you” got denied.

In the past it has been deferall but idk if it is the same for ed2

maybe that one person who got the thank you, maybe it was a mistake
