any more suggestions?

Here is a summary of the 2008 freshman class statistics....you can gauge your chances from this. One thing that's a little scary is only 176 out of 297
applicants with 1500+ SATs where granted admission. But SATs below 1200 don't necessarily rule you out. Good luck!

So my 28 ACT(~1260) gives me a 30% chance?!?!? Well, I wasn't expecting to get in anyway... Possibly they'll see that I did super well the subsections of the tests just on different testing dates.

I'm trying to say that you shouldn't give your SATs (ACTs) much weight. Grades and difficulty of course load is far more important. Standardized test scores correlate fairly poorly with success in college, so they shouldn't be over-emphasized one way or another.

I have to agree with rogracer with regard to standardized tests. My son is in the Class of 2008 at Lehigh and applied regular decision last Dec/Jan. He will be a mechanical engineering major and did okay on the SAT's. Nothing spectacular.

Metalhed - you can't really compare PSU to Lehigh. Big difference just in the number of students alone. I feel that you have to at least apply - you never know if you'll be accepted or not. Don't let others opinions deter you if you are really set on going to Lehigh.

hmm... Its a reach for you, but i think you'll probably get in cuz of ED. Good Luck.

thanks a lot guys...i'm really hoping to get in...anyone else???

bump bump...

anyone...???

the good thing about lehigh is they reject a lot of really qualified people who are obviously choosing it as a safety school

I go to lehigh for a few classes, and yeah, you have a decent shot since you are ED. Are you an amazing wrestler? If not, steer clear. The wrestlers here are hardcore.

Not amazing, but good. Went to regionals last year and placed 6th. Hoping to hit states this year. Thanks for the input. Anyone else???

bumpy bump bump

anyone please???

come on....???

What do you want us to say? "You're definitely in!" ... anything we say is just a prediction and your natural instint is normally true. You've got a good chance but it is just that, a chance. I, and I'm sure many others, would love it if there were posted stats which would allow you to tell if you were accepted or rejected... unfortunetly it is not like that and many qualified students will be rejected because there is simply not enough room for everyone.

Good luck for you and all other applicants(incl myself!!)
