ED chances of URM in Educaton Major

Hello.

I have a 30 ACT / 3.9 UW, 4.3 W GPA. I also have very strong ECs.

I am interested in the Education Department in order to become a teacher. Their 5 year master program, and simply the fact that they offer an education major at the Ivy level, REALLY draw me to Brown.

I believe that my hooks include being Hispanic (Mexican) and being interested in the Education major & department.

So, what are my chances ED?

Impossible to tell, like any other applicant. “Chancing” is a useless endeavor. Make sure you talk about your interest in education/the 5-year master’s, since that’s a cool thing.

Being Mexican is a hook. Being interested in the education department is not.
