i believe thekristin was talking about boston college (BC) not british colombia.

i said vodox not thekristin unless ofcourse, there’s a boston college in canada… cuz vodox said b.c. canada

sorry my bad…ask away.

Wait… you cant apply ED and EA in two different places???

yeah. one place ed then as many ea places as you want. except for places like yale that are restrictive early action (no other ed’s, but you don’t have to go if you get in)

Some colleges don’t care if you apply EA to them and ED to somewhere else, but others (like Boston College) don’t allow you to apply EA if you are applying ED somewhere else. However, you can apply to as many other EA schools as you want with a policy like BC’s.

why are we talking about BC?

Does anyone know Cornell’s early decision statistics for the college of engineering?

they dont release ED stats. However, the overall acceptance rate for ED cornell for last year was approx. 35 percent.
So, i would expect the engineering accept. rate to be about 38 % (since cas really brings down the overall accept. rate)

I would expect it to be lower this year tho…

hotelie ED is only 20% -___- damn.

password, did u guess or did u find out from somewhere?

that was last year’s number

Freshmen Early Decision Regular Decision Total
Applicants 254 719 973
Admits 52 148 200
Enrolling 54 112 166

it comes out to 20.47%. I dont’ get the whole “admit 52, enroll 54” thing though?

RD rates are actually a tiny bit higher at 20.58%

they dont have this for other colleges…do they?

um…this is from the class of 2011 stats from the hotel admin. website. so…i have never looked on any of the other colleges website, but i’m pretty sure you could find it. they always have these stats.

…one day like one knief..just shear my body everyday…

alright, so i’m a little confused.
we’re not hearing until the 19th?
these people who said they already got their letters - are they lying?
Or have some of you really already heard… and do we find out online or in the mail?

FOr cornell, by the way.

who ever said they got their letters?

and it’s online on the 19th, or by snail mail on the 20th and up.

where do you find it online?
Is it on the cornell admissions website and you log in and stuff and it tells you?

nevermind. got it.

[Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions Office - WELCOME](http://admissions.cornell.edu/)

yea someone last year said that once you log on on the 19th at 5 and you are on your selfservice, there will be a link underneath “check my application status” that says “check my decision”

so…im nervous all of a sudden. i hadnt been but now that it is official, im all butterfly-ish
