ED Decision Date?

Does anyone have any idea the exact date our ED decisions are posted online?

other colleges (VA Tech, JMU, and I think UPenn) have said Dec. 15th, so probably sometime around then...

Me to admissions rep's secretary: "I'm under the impression that we hear Dec. 15th, is this correct?"

Secretary: "On, or about then"

so...inconclusive, but i think that the 15th is a good bet

ya, between dec.14-15

Dec. 15th seems to be the day, from what I've heard.

But I wonder when they actually "decide". Hmmm.

thats a scary thought. for all I know, I could already be rejected and just not know it yet. we sit here waiting for the day...and our fate's already been decided. (ahhhhhhhh!!!)

or, alternatively, we could be accepted. but what are the chances of that anyways

Last year it was the 12th, Why's that?

perhaps they like to do it on fridays?

It'd be great if it were earlier...

The 15th is my last day of final exams. I'm going to have issues with focusing, lol.

Last year they supposedly didn't start reading the applications until December 1st. Decisions were posted the 12th, one of the earliest of the Ivies (Dartmouth ED was earliest but then came Brown). And then during that week everyone else found out..... Expect intensity and drama at your High Schools during "ED week"

"Expect intensity and drama at your High Schools during "ED week""

lol

dec 15th. some schools do it earlier.

Dec. 1st?! Wow. I don't know if it's comforting or not that they can read/decide so quickly, lol.

The "intensity and drama" has already begun at my school...! Ugh. There are so many ED-ers and EA-ers.

Same here! I think that only two people did not go early, although we are a small class. I'm on winter break then, i think that i will actually be on a plane, and i will have to wait until we land to go check. how awful :( plus, i have to wait till after new years to find out where everyone got in!

Also - word to the wise. Decisions usually go up around 5 PM. Think you're gonna find out AT 5:00 on the dot? Think again. The server gets really busy because of everyone logging in at the same exact time. So don't be alarmed if 5:00 turns into 5:30... aka the longest 30 minutes of your life.

Haha, oh man. The minutes would just be crawling by.

Sigh, I'm really not good at waiting.

And my school has Dec. 6th as the deadline for when the counselors and registrars will complete app. stuff before the holidays, so I'll have to get all my RD stuff together. Eek.

Ya, I know, been through it last year. You keep pressing the refresh button for 30-60 minutes, and when you finally login your heart just stops for a moment, before the page appears. enjoy :P
