gl all you columbia hopefuls!!!

Someone asked earlier if I'm sure. No, I'm not. Notice the (?) on this thread.

The "Columbia wont make the same mistake twice" is BS, though. What's the mistake?

Columbia2002,

When did the girl email you, and did she say when she called? It seems particularly unlikely that Columbia would mail 'em out before the end of the business day.

A few minutes before I posted. Said she called this evening; no specifics.

It's my understanding that they always/usually overnight the things to arrive the same day as the emails. Other people on here might be able to confirm that, because I don't really follow it. We didn't have email acceptances when I applied

thanks. hope your wrong though : )

yeah
the guy probably would have posted his stats on the ED results thread had he truly got in

it was a girl and maybe shes not a member of CC

Who the heck knows. If a bunch of you called and none got in, that says something. Someone said on this thread that I'm always right, but just don't lose sleep over this because I'm not saying anything definitively.

or maybe some people alleviate their stress or get kicks outta doing this
in which case is only practical to do so to further enhance the quality of life, *****

.....what?

The letters will not be mailed until later today (the 7th) so you will most likely find out from the email, not the letter.

As far as timing, three years ago, my S got the acceptance email Thursday evening, and the package came the next morning. So, if they follow the same pattern, the packages will be mailed today, delivered tomorrow.

Good luck, all.

Yeah I gave in and called just now. I live on 2038 86th St, and they said a package was being express mailed to 2038 85th St. Ugh. I really hope this is bogus.

Why is that a bad thing? Anyone else call just now?

i love it how DHL was used..kinda makes you wonder about some of the people on this board.

i'd expect most any columbia students would be equally pushy and resourceful. i'm just amused, frankly.
