I think my GPA and extracurriculars are my weaknesses
A little bit of context here
I studied in the local Taiwanese system before transferring to an International school here in Taiwan.
As an ESL student, my GPA in the first and second year was ok but not like top
My counselor explains that in the rec letter, saying I tried exceptionally hard to make the most out of my situation and climbed all the way from barely speaking English to where I am
So, I am interested in computer science and biology/BME
if I apply ED to Duke, Johns Hopkins, or Cornell with computer science as my first choice
What are my chances?
What if I apply RD instead of ED to these schools? How much lower would those chances be?
Thank you all very much!!!
