Essay: I used an anecdote of a time I hurt my brother and did not take responsibility to highlight how I've become more responsible.

ILR Supplement: I emphasized my interest in statistics, history, and economics and how that will help me to achieve my ultimate goal of going to Law School.

Your Ec’s aren’t bad, but not spectacular. With that being said, I know a guy from my high school who got in with worse ec’s. Granted, he had a really high SAT score and was saludictorian. Also, what are your SAT scores out of 1600? Cornell does not look heavily on the writing portion.

1430/1600 on my SAT
