How do my chances look for the Hotel School, and how can I improve them?
Thanks!

You look really good already with the Hotel experience and pretty good class rank. If anything, work on your SATs.

yaaa ur lucky tat u went to cornell for the summer. With your scores and grades, i say u ll def get in!

I always got the feeling that community service was extra important for the hotel school.

Average SAT score for Cornell overall ,(they don't look at writing so a 1400 is right in the middle), but pull that CR up if you can; that's only the 25th percentile.
Just look on their website and make sure one SAT 2 is enough. You wouldn't want to be denied on a stupid technicality.
That's awesome that you actually have experience in hotels!

I think you're fine. Come to campus for your interview and if possible attend a Hotel School Information Session before the interview. They really help with what kinds of things to say. My scores were all lower than yours and my extracurriculars less and I got in. You just have to show the passion you have for the school in your essay and interview. Be enthusiastic.

Applying early does not increase your chance. As a matter of fact, last year they only accepted about 30 students ED. This wasn't really a strategy of the school; the applicants were just not strong enough. The good thing about ED is if you get in, you get in! Don't have to worry about anything else. But in terms of selection criteria--its hard either way.
