Ed Ii??

blip, don't worry; my daughter was accepted and there is nothing on her My Hamilton page. When I spoke to admissions months ago, I was told that EDII admission's notification would be by snail mail only. Maybe EDII is done differently than EDI or RD.

yeah, i understand you, blip

i almost lost my confidence since i was rejected by Colgate in ED I.

Don't worry. My friend who got defered in ED II also has nothing in his "my hamilton".

That was one of the most relieving posts of the week guys! Thnk you so much for the news piece guys!

Still nothing! Anyone?

Me too....

Do large packages arrive slowly??haha trying to be optimistic!!

Hehe, I hope so.

Looking forward to a big envelope~~~Hope to receive it tomorrow morning.

hey Seky!
Its seems we both are online same time... So how come you are sure about recieving it tomorrow..how did your frend got the deferral early being frm the same place?

And this thread seems to be occupied with the post of either me or you!

My friend and I are in different cities.

He live in Shanghai which has an international airport so that the letter could be delivered directly to his city.
But my city doesn't have an international airport, so the letter may be delivered to a peripheral international airport and sent to me domestically. It will take a few more days.

I still received nothing this morning.

Shanghai,... there's this kid from Shanghai who attends Hamilton College. Man that dude is freaking cold and isolated. He does not talk to anyone even when people try to talk to him. Hamilton College does not need anymore people like him. I hope you Shanghanites are not all cold. If so, please go somewhere else.

Do you mean Mr. Qian ye jun who is a member of Class of 2008 at Hamilton?

Though I'm not from shanghai, I've met so many Shanghai people who are sociable and extroverted. Please do not take him as an model of Shanghai people.

Seky, yes I was talking about Qian ye jun who is a member of my class. It's good to know there are more sociable Shanghai people than that guy. I won't take him as a model for all Shanghai people, but thanks for the information. Good luck with admissions.

What do you guys like so much about Hamilton? Im just curious as to what attracted you to apply there. I think that its reputation as a fine institution will help me after graduation. I also like the fact that the majority of the student body is athletic. Have u guys heard anything about the night and social life up at Hamilton?

No Idea!

:(

I AM STILL WAITING! Any new updates Seky?

I think you should call or email Hamilton. It isn't fair that you haven't heard yet, while those in the states found out last week. Let us know what you find out.

Thank you for the encouragement. And I just emailed them as well. Hope I won't have to post here tomorrow with a sorry face. Pokey318, you have been quite a help all along. Thank you so much once again!

I hope you get a positive response from Hamilton; if so you will be a classmate of my daughter's.

BTW, I may have missed this, but are you male or female? How about Seky? I am assuming LacrosseHead is male; am I correct?

I am a male. And I ask Seky the same question!
:)
