ED - rejected

Got rejected from Wellesley. Oh well, time to think about other colleges and prepare my application. Have fun y'all!

It's ok. Wellesley is not everything. As trite and overused as it sounds, a person's character defines how far their success will go in life. There's plenty of opportunities for you to learn and grow. :)

Good luck and keep your head up!

Have you heard of St. Olaf College? It's a little known liberal arts college in Minnesota listed in the "colleges that change lives" book. It has a gorgeous campus, amazing facilities, great food, great academics (especially noted for sciences and music), and is underrated and therefore easier to get into. It attracts a lot of altruistic, passionate students and more than 80% of the student body study abroad during their tenure at the college. It also has an unusually high number of Rhodes and Fulbright scholars. Worth a look, perhaps... I wish you the best!

I'm glad to hear that! I apply to st olaf by early decision...
PS:I'm from China~

^^St. Olaf is a good school, I have a friend who goes there and really likes it. :)

I'm sorry to hear that, nelle, that's a bummer. I was rejected from my top choice school, too, but you will definitely be happy with where you will end up! You might even be glad that you're there instead of Wellesley, so good luck on those other apps!

How many percent of the EDs got rejected and how many percent got deferred? Does anyone know?
