ED UPenn or ED Cornell?

UPenn is my first choice, but I like Cornell too, and I feel like I’d have a better chance if I applied ED to Cornell. I really wouldn’t be disappointed to go to Cornell and I don’t want to waste my ED on UPenn, so what should I do?

I think you should go for Penn. Your stats are very solid and on par with Penn, and they really encourage ED applications (they admit something like 50% of their class through ED or something like that). ED is binding so it would be a shame if you didn’t use it on your first choice!

I agree, if UPenn is your first choice, go for UPenn, UPenn takes something like 25% of their ED applicants.
